Disinfection prices

All prices are final prices. Travel within Riga is included. Outside Riga we add a call-out charge based on distance.

The figures below are starting prices — the point the calculation begins from. We set the exact price after inspecting the property and tell it to you before the work starts. We never raise it afterwards.

Most companies in this trade do not publish prices at all. We publish ours so you can judge the order of cost before you even get in touch.

Premises disinfection — flats and houses

For flats we price by the number of rooms, because in practice that matches the amount of work better than floor area does. The price covers the on-site inspection, treatment by the chosen method and our recommendations.

If only one room in a flat needs treating — a bathroom with mould in the silicone joints, say — the job usually falls within the minimum order, and there is no need to pay for the whole flat.

Commercial premises — priced by area

Commercial premises are priced by floor area, and the rate falls as the area grows. The reason is practical: on a large site, the set-up and moving-around time is spread over far more square metres.

Above 1000 m² we quote individually after an inspection. Scheduled, ongoing work is discounted compared with separate call-outs.

Mould removal

Mould treatment takes more work than ordinary disinfection, which is why the rate is higher. It includes finding the cause with a moisture reading, removing the affected material and often drying out the structure as well.

If we carry out the treatment after inspecting, we credit the inspection fee against the total. In practice that means the inspection costs you nothing extra.

Ozone and odour removal

Ozone treatment is priced by area with a minimum order, because setting the equipment up and airing the room afterwards takes much the same time whether the room is 20 or 40 m².

If the source of the smell has to be removed physically first — soot, grease deposits, urine deposits — we assess that separately. Ozone alone, without removing the source, buys you a few days, so we do not sell it as a solution on its own.

How to keep the cost down

A few things genuinely reduce the bill, and it is only fair to say so:

• Get in touch early. A small patch of mould costs far less than the same patch a year later.
• Treat an empty room. Before the furniture goes in, or after a move-out, the work is faster and cheaper.
• Prepare the room yourself — clear out food and plants, and free up access to the walls.
• Combine jobs. If several flats in one building need treating, the price for each one is lower.
• Deal with the cause. Treatment without sorting out the ventilation means a second call-out.

Discounts

• Several units at one address — several flats in one building, or several rooms in a hotel.
• Scheduled, ongoing work — for businesses, institutions and property managers.
• Managing several buildings — a single quote covering the whole portfolio.

Payment and paperwork

Private customers pay once the work is finished. Businesses are invoiced according to the terms of the contract.

For companies and institutions we prepare a contract, an invoice and a signed handover record. Where we work with you regularly, we keep a record of the treatments carried out, which you can add to your hygiene documentation or produce during an inspection.

What the price does not cover

Set out plainly, so there are no surprises in the quote:
