A whole small town in one district — flats, old timber houses, detached houses and port premises, each with its own inspection.
By its building stock Bolderaja is almost a small town in itself: panel-block estates, historic low-rise housing, detached houses, and production and port properties. So here we come out to every one of our property types — flats, private houses, warehouses and production spaces.
We carry out mould removal, odour removal, ozone treatment and disinfection after flooding, a sewage failure or long vacancy. We have no premises and no staff in the district — we travel out on request, and in Riga travel is included in the price.
If you have two properties at one address or on one route, say so straight away — one call-out is simpler than two.
Part of the district sits on low coastal ground between the Daugava and the Bullupe. That is not a claim that there is damp everywhere here — it is a reason to check a few things in your particular building rather than assume them for the whole district.
If the answer to any of these is yes, treatment alone will not solve the problem. The structure has to dry first and the path of the water has to be sorted out. We say that at the inspection, before the work. More: mould in the cellar and after flooding.
The three residential types behave differently here, and the inspection is not the same for them.
Property descriptions: flat, private house, mould in the bathroom.
In port and production properties the area to be treated is usually large, so we price by square metre rather than by the number of rooms. The other difference is access: many sites have their own pass and security procedure, and that has to be established before the trip, not on arrival.
The typical tasks there are a smell after stored goods, damp on unheated external walls, and the state of things after a leak. The sequence is always the same: the structure has to dry first, and only then treatment. Treating wet material does not hold.
Related: warehouse, ozone treatment. In the neighbouring district we also work in Ilguciems.
On low ground and after a leak the commonest mistake is haste. Treatment removes what grows on the surface but does not draw water out of the structure. If the material is still wet, the growth returns once everything else has dried, and the work has to be repeated at full price.
How long you have to wait depends on the material. A thin plasterboard partition dries in days. Thick masonry, or a timber structure with wet insulation inside it, in weeks. Absorbent materials that will not dry inside the structure are better taken out than waited on.
We measure the moisture in the wall and say whether work can start. That is a more honest kind of answer than guessing from appearance.
In practice that means two visits are sometimes needed after flooding: the first for the inspection and the plan, the second for the work itself. In more detail: after flooding and inspection.
Bolderaja is a long way from the centre, so planning pays off more here than elsewhere. The price does not change with distance — travel within Riga is included — but unarranged access or an unprepared space can mean that two trips are needed instead of one.
If the inspection shows that treatment is not needed — for example, the smell comes from a dried-out trap or a lack of draught rather than from growth — we say so and do not sell the job.
Tell us the type of property, the area, the floor and whether there is a cellar or basement level.
We measure the moisture in the walls and look at the cellar, the ground around the foundations and the draught.
We establish how large an area really has to be treated and whether drying comes first.
We do the work in one visit if the scope and the moisture in the structure allow it.
We say how long the space has to stay empty and what to sort out so the problem does not return.
If the inspection shows that treatment is not needed — for example, the smell comes from a dried-out trap or a lack of draught rather than from growth — we say so and do not sell the job. Waterproofing, drainage, roofing and installing ventilation are not our work; that is a builder's.
The price list is the same for all of Riga, but the final figure for the same area differs. In Bolderaja four things change it most often, and none of them has anything to do with distance — travel within Riga is included in the price.
| Circumstance | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Type of property | A flat is priced by the number of rooms, a house from €95, a commercial or port property per square metre. |
| Whether finishes come off | If the growth is under panelling, boarding or skirting, the area to be treated is larger than the visible patch. |
| Whether the structure is dry | We do not treat a wet wall. After flooding the drying can take weeks and mean a second visit. |
| Access to the site | The pass procedure, how far we have to carry equipment and the working window set how long we are on site. |
The fifth circumstance is the number of properties at one address. If both the house and an outbuilding or garage have to be treated, give both areas straight away — one call-out is simpler and better value for you than two.
Flats: 1-room from €55, 2-room from €65, 3-room from €75, 4-room from €85. Private houses from €95. Commercial premises by area: up to 100 m² €1.20/m², 100–300 m² €0.90/m², 300–1000 m² €0.70/m². Mould: inspection from €40, treatment from €1.50/m², minimum from €80. Ozone treatment €1.20/m², minimum €60.

No. Travel within Riga is included in the price, and Bolderaja is inside the city. Distance changes the planning, not the total. We do not promise an arrival time to the hour — we agree a day and an approximate time.
Treatment removes what grows on the surface but does not change the path of the water. If there is water in the cellar regularly every spring, the drainage has to be sorted out first and the structure has to dry. We do not install waterproofing or drainage — that is a builder's work.
Yes, and that is better value than two separate call-outs. Give the areas of both in your enquiry: the residential part is priced by the number of rooms or from €95 for a house, the outbuilding or commercial space per square metre.
Describe the situation — we will tell you whether treatment is needed at all, and which one.
Fill in the form — we will call you on the number you provide, ask a few clarifying questions and propose a solution.
Thank you! We will contact you on the phone number you provided shortly.
